Never fear, the seven day play is here
Wednesday: Hump day. Such a punish. Need something to take your mind away from the assignments you should be writing, the reports you should be compiling and the meetings you shouldn’t be asleep in. Try some Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. on for size. It sure helps me. Plus you feel all empowered and what not: “you can’t push us, push us underground”. Take that Wednesday.
Thursday: The weekend is agonisingly close. Time for something a little dance-ish, but not too much because Friday still needs to rear its ugly head. Nothing we can do about that. Try a little Dlinkwnt. You really can’t stay annoyed at the week when there’s a four-piece horn section in your ears. Grab a martini, sway your hips and dance away your sorrows.
Friday: Weekend time! Time to dance! Cast of the shackles of employment and rejoice! And here to help is Hockey Dad. Infectious surf-rock is just what the weekend needs to get started.
Saturday: Festivals, clubs, dancing, laughing, partying, staying up all night: winter is coming to scare these all away. We defy it to try, and be “we I mean you, me and Matt and Kim. Get in the festival mood. Or stay at home and watch Community. Whatever floats your boat.
Sunday: Time for some chilled down beats. Nothing like a lazy Sunday. You need to nurse the Saturday hangover sure, but your not ready to ditch the weekend yet. Dr Moonbase Commander is here with the remedy.
Monday: Stop talking so loud. In fact just stop talking. My head hurts and my depressed meter is at overload because by a cruel twist of fate the weekend is over ALREADY and I’m back at work like a sucker. I need quiet and relaxing. Battleships have got your back bro.
Tuesday: Arguably the worst day of the week. Arguably the worst day ever invented. Except for cheap pizza there is no redeeming qualities for such a day. Go home put on some Jazz-Funk, forget your troubles, watch a movie (The Social Network is pretty good). Beaten Bodies will show you how.
We here at Bear Media strive to bring you the best of local and abroad remedies for the working week, and celebrations for the weekend. Watch this space for your seven day mix tape each week.
