There’s a lot going on this week so we’re going to take five minutes to show you what we will be going to this week.
Thursday is tough, we’re actually heading to two gigs. The Brewery launches back into live music this week, with a free show headlined by Foxground. We’ve done some coverage of the return, check it out here. At the same time, Kingswood are playing at UOW UniBar supported by Tales in Space, The Vanns & Vulpes Vulpes. We’re pretty keen for both, and as such…we’re going to both.
Friday is a no-brainer. Dead Letter Circus have just released an absolute destroyer of an album, and they’re hitting Waves with one of our all time favourite bands Closure In Moscow. It is set to be one of the gigs of the year in our opinion. Do not miss.
For something a little different, we suggest going to check out The WooHoo Revue on Saturday. They’re touring again, and stop off at The City Diggers Club with Penny and The Mystics, Blueberry Circuit and Max Savage in support. A few cool things to mention: the event is ALL AGES (although U/18s must have a guardian with them); plus, Blueberry Circuit are one of our favourite young local bands. Go dance.
We have a local pick for Sunday. Round The Corner are playing a show at the brand new venue The Den. If you haven’t seen it yet, check out the galleries tab to have a look at some snaps. We’re proudly presenting this one, and yeah, we’re pretty keen to see the RTC guys and gal in full live mode (it’s been a while). Click here for more info. They are supported by Firelucy and one more TBA. The Den does live and local music every week so check it out.
